Introducing our 33rd SacTweetup, but wait… it’s version 2.o!
Sacramento’s favorite social media mixer is bigger and better this month, as SacTweetup has partnered with California Downtown Partnership (CDA)! Also joining us will be young professionals from Metro EDGE! The CDA is hosting its Annual Conference October 29-31 and the Tweetup will help to kick things off with a bang! This Tweetup will be a great opportunity to share with California’s downtown and district leaders about how Sacramento leads the state when it comes to Tweetups and the powerful tool social media serves to engage locals and businesses.
Alejandro and I are super excited to be hosting the 33rd SacTweetup together (Yes, the Godfather himself will be here!) at an even bigger location to accomodate us – Coa Room at Tequila Museo 1200 K Street.
What can you expect to see at this month’s SacTweetup?
#Hashtag Raffles - We have done these at several events in the past and people have really had a lot of fun. What is a #Hashtag Raffle? Think 100 meter dash meets Twitter. People have fun trying to Tweet their favorite 80s movie with a specific #hashtag for the chance to win an awesome prize.
The InstaSacTweetup backdrop for photo opportunities - People love to share photos and we want to incorporate a way to make photosharing an element of each event. You’ll have to come and see what we have in store for SacTweetup 33 at Tequila Museo!
Icebreakers - One thing that has been consistent over the years at SacTweetups has been the format. People love the 2-parts social 1-part business. We intend to keep this and add some fun into the 2-parts social element. Again, you’ll really want to see this for yourself and bring a friend. We have a loyal community of 150+ regular Sacramentan attendees, which makes these events great for causal chats and fun introductions.
A state-of-the-art Rocket Booth social media kiosk - The perfect element to have at any event! Share the fun with friends and co-workers. Rocket Booth owner, Johnny Vu is the one of the fun-est cats around! He’ll be at the Tweetup to tell you about how you can reach larger audiences and add fun to your next event with a Rocket Booth.
